The D-Link DGS-1005D, a desktop switch with 5 ports 10/100/1000Mbps that offers high performance in a device that allows us to save space and money.

Standards

The DGS-1005D Switch is compatible with IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 802.3u 100BASE-TX, 802.3ab 1000BASE-T and 803.3x flow control. This switch is equipped to auto-negotiate speeds at 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps.

Flow control

The DGS-1005D Switch, in Full-Duplex mode, allows users to be protected from potential data loss during network transmission. When connected to a LAN card (on a server or PC) that supports flow control, and when the data buffer is about to fill, the switch sends a signal to the PC indicating such a situation. Then the PC delays the transmission until the buffer has been released and more information can be sent.

Plug and play installation 

All you have to do is connect the cables to the switch.Todos the ports support both straight-through and crossover cables, eliminating the need for a port uplink.Dados the self-sensing 10/100/1000 Mbps, no configuration is required.
