Get a Gigabit network in your office for less than you think. Start with this 16-port 10/100/1000 switch and provide your peers with Gigabit connectivity in a flexible and efficient manner.
Depending on the number of employees and to be able to structure your departments in the best way, bet on these switches that offer you up to 16 Gigabit ports (DGS-1016D). The D-Link Switch DGS-1016D, a desktop switch with 16 ports 10/100/1000Mbps that offers high performance in a device that allows us to save space and money. Another feature in this switch is that all ports automatically negotiate the MDI/MDIX (Up-Link) mode setting, avoiding the need to create cross pair cables.
Standards
The DGS-1016D Switch is compatible with IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T, 802.3u 100BASE-TX, 802.3ab 1000BASE-T and 803.3x flow control. This switch is equipped to auto-negotiate speeds at 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps.
Flow control
The DGS-1016D Switch, in Full-Duplex mode, allows users to be protected from potential data loss during network transmission. When connected to a LAN card (on a server or PC) that supports flow control, and when the data buffer is about to fill, the switch sends a signal to the PC indicating such a situation. Then the PC delays the transmission until the buffer has been released and more information can be sent.
Energy saving technologies D-Link Green
It incorporates new energy-saving technologies. By detecting whether connected devices are on or off and estimating the length of the cable, the switch is able to adjust its power consumption, saving up to 73%*.
